Tufts Maker Network Handbooks

I wanted to create an effective teaching tool for rapid prototyping and technology. My partner and I came up with a mix of guided projects, text, and visual media. I was responsible for all of the content on the website, which can be found here. The general landing page is shown below.

National Instruments Handbooks
These handbooks were focussed on helping people learn LabVIEW, myRIO, and the VirtualBench so they could move on to bigger projects using these products. I chose to create a series of guided projects with hints and step-by-step solutions so the participants could follow along. These tutorials were then used at NI week workshops for 75+ people.

- LabVIEW is a very popular data aquistion and controls software.
- The myRIO is a microcontroller and FPGA packaged for students, programmed with LabVIEW.
- The VirtualBench is a lab bench with an integrated mixed signal oscilloscope, logic analyzer, power supply, digital multimeter, and function generator. it comes with a companion app of can be controlled with LabVIEW.
Prototyping Handbooks
I also wanted to use this patform to help facilitate work at the Tufts makerspace so I created a series of handbooks for revelent skills and some of the tools that tufts students have access to.
